 Aly & AJ answered some of questions on their site.This is what it says:

Q: I've seen you play several different musical instruments at your concerts. How many different instruments do you play? Also, which ones do you think are the most difficult to play?
A: We both play piano and guitar. We also have fun playing Toca drums. The hardest instrument to play would probably have to be the piano since it takes a lot of patience and concentration. But once you have it down it's a beautiful thing.

Q: What's your most memorable memory (sorry for the pun) from your childhood? Thank you and keep up brining smiles to many people's faces. Aaaand sorry for any spelling mistake, Spanish is my native language.
A: Favorite memory would have to be playing pirates in our backyard. We used to live in a forest in Seattle and we had the coolest places to create games. We had a huge playhouse that we'd use as our ship and we'd take plumbing pipes and use them as telescopes. We even dressed up as buccaneers with eye patches and bandanas. Let?s just say we had a big imagination! Good question

Q: Has it become more challenging for you guys to make genuine friends since you?ve become more well known? Would you ever consider befriending a fan?
A: It's more of a challenge when you can't tell who's using you & who's not. Thankfully we've met some really cool people that we know we can trust. Sure we'd befriend a fan, we meet a lot of cool people all over the world. Just because their fans doesn't mean we can't hang.

Q: How do you stay strong in your faith while living in Hollywood? How do you not give in? You girls are some of my biggest role models, keep it up!
A: AJ & I try to surround ourselves with good people who are honest & passionate when it comes to their work. Staying tight as sisters & knowing that our faith is our priority keeps us grounded & focused spiritually. We are far from perfect but we will continue to be good role models.

Q: Dear Aly & Aj do any of your family members help you write or inspire you in your music?
A: Life experiences inspire most of our writing as well as our interaction with other people. The only other person we write with who's a family member is our mom. We've already written a couple songs with her for the upcoming record.
